Tropical Storm "Ondoy"

Tropical storm "Ondoy" left the Philippines with much work and recovery to do.  The country, especially Metro Manila is in a mess.  It needed a lot of cleaning up.

Two weeks after that tragic day, traces of Ondoy's rage can still be seen.

Villages still under water.  Electricity down.  And relief operations needed.

Schools turned as evacuation centers.

400,000 lake squatters needed relocation.

President Arroyo already lifted the State of Calamity in Visayas and Mindanao.

But, Luzon remains.  After Ondoy struck Metro Manila and its nearby provinces.  Another typhoon "Pepeng" hit Northern Luzon.  What happened to the metropolis was replicated in Northern Luzon.

People were in their rooftops as floodwaters rose up.

With what happened, fingers should not be pointed to anybody else.  Not the government, nor the people.

Lesson must have been learned.

And flaws in some areas should be corrected.  Whether or not another typhoon will again strike the Country.
